Default Belt problems.

I was wondering if anyone has their belt jump off when going over 6000rpm's? My friend had his rev limiter set at 6400rpms and his would come off occasionally. I did about 10 pulls on the dyno last week. I heard the power steering squaling and checked it out. My belt had jumped over a few grooves. How do you fix this problem?

I have heard of it a couple times. It was coming off at the tensioner. There is a company selling a tensioner with larger outer ribs to keep the belt on at high speeds. I will try to find it again and post for you, unless someone else knows what Im talking about and beats me to it.

I was freaked out.

It obviously starts with the tensioner because thats the way it spins. If there's a fix, I WANT IT.
