Ran a C5 2002 6 speed today with exhaust & intake.....

My Car:
Ws6 2002 6 speed 18" AR. cutout,lid, pulley, mafends

Roling start in first to like 130mph. He took me by a little more then
car length.

I was hoping to win but the c5 is faster....we tried 4 times with same outcome 3 times. 1 and 2gear is were i lost ground then it was pretty much even.
Last one we did a 2 gear roll and he baerly took me. I think the weight makes my car lose a little at lower gears.

Should i be faster???

I have raced a stock c5 1997 aut 2.73 before and i walked him pretty good.
We raced 4 times 45-140 and i took him by about 4-5 cars.

I actually had the same question. I never could get one to race me in the talon, but finally a younger guy raced me in his vette. It was a c5, and I guess he gunned it when he heard my turbo from a carlength ahead of me, but I reeled him in and by the time we were side by side he had to let off for traffic . I tried to give him a thumbs up but he wouldn't even look over after that. But anyway my question is how fast are they supposed to be, and do all the c5's (aside from the zo6) have the same motor?

I ran an A4 C5 and im not sure what gears he had. Claimed it ran 13.2 stock or something. We went from a 55 punch and I missed a gear at about 80-85 with him 1 car on me (counting my car, thus his bumper was at my nose). He claimed it ran low 12's at 116 with his stall and tune. I think that was BS, but it DID pull harder than a M6 04 GTO that had a timeslip for 12.8@109.
THe vette really got pullin about 75 mph 55-75 we were even. I think he was just about to wind out 2nd.
