Hooker exhaust over Flowmaster??
Well I currently have a flowmaster 80 series muffler on with a 3" cutout in the I pipe....I always have it uncapped for the sound and performance.....Well I am thinking of getting a Hooker muffler to replace the Flowmaster but my question is would it make a difference performance wise with the cutout.....reason is because since I have the cutout....most air is being let out before it reaches the muffler anyway with some air of course flowing into the I pipe correct?....so if its not gonna make a difference in performance....then I probably will wait......not too worried about soundwise....but just wanted to know.....although if the cutout is capped.....then it would make a performance difference right?.........so should i get one or it would be a waste of money?........ <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I would think it would be a waste of money. I also have a flow and a cutout, and I'm keeping the flow because I like the sound when the cutout is capped. But with the cutout open, any muffler is going to become useless.
