Default FS: 408 SHORTBLOCK - ME = :bang:

I've put an ad on racingjunk.com for it, but I really don't want to wait around for some country yokel to pick it up with his horse and buggy.

http://racingjunk.com/post/656522/4...Shortblock.html

GM 6.0L Iron Block
Callies Racemaster 4.000" Crank 4340
Callies I-Beam Rods
Diamond Domed 10.2cc Pistons
TNT Total Seal Rings
Federal Mogul Main Bearings
Clevite Rod Bearings

I have the price at $3500, but if someone wants to play with numbers, just PM me.

FYI, this is an APE shortblock that I received right before they went to ****. I put my whole bonus and tax return into this last year and I'm not even going to be finishing my project car (98 Z28 - roller - which will be for sale when I clean it up).

I'm going to be looking for another LS1 car to drive around, so I would consider trades for that plus my $$ of course.

Here are scans of the build sheets and a couple pictures of the shortblock, which has never been unwrapped or taken off the crate.

Thanks.

Ryan

What would the compression be with a 66 or 72cc head?

Depending on the thickness of your gasket, anywhere between 13:1 to 13.7:1

I could REALLY use this right now but I can't afford to take a chance knowing APE's reputation

The price can be worked on.

I realize that whoever purchases this will get it looked at before use, so I take into consideration the amount of money it would cost for this.
