Default Problems Shifting in upper Rpm's

Alright just finished up my heads and cam swap last week, and noticed that when i get up into the upper rpms(6600ish) the car doesnt want to shift somtimes. Like just not want to go into the next gear, but give it a second then it slides right in. Anything shfiting in the 6000-6400 rpm area i'm fine and can fly through the gears.

Dont know what it can be, the tranny was brand new when i bought it from keseler, and has only 18k miles on it along with the ram clutch i have. All hydrolics were upgraded to to teh 01+ stuff and i did the drill mod.

Any help would be greatly apprecitive.

Thanks
Justin

If you are talking about a T56, it should have no problem shifting at that RPM. If you have any oil but a DEX III spec. that may be the cause. It may be that you clutch does not fully release or is slow to release at high RPM.
If you are talking about a TR3550(tko), it is operating normally as the synchros are not designed to shift at that RPM without some rework.

Too thick of oil( synthetic or gear oil) or poor clutch balance( non release@ speed)

check your clutch fluid......mine was doing the same thing and when i checked it it was black as hell. So i flushed it and bled it and it works like brand new again.
