WTB: 00-02 camaro ss 10.50-11.50 car
In the market for a 2000-2002 camaro SS. It MUST be an auto. would prefer to still have a 4l60e in it over any a3's. Its going to be a daily driver so power steering and a/c are a must. must have a 12 bolt or 9". heres a rough idea of what im lookin for:
10.50- 11.50 et on motor
00-02 Camaro ss
12 bolt or 9"
built 4l60E is a plus
forged internals is a huge plus
aftermarket torque arm/ lca's
qa1's is a plus
6 point cage is a plus
silver, black, or red would be awesome. Im willing to come pickup so distance realy isnt an issue. Thanks.

The car also has a nitrous setup if you wish to connect it and use it. I never sprayed it so I don't have the times.. just the dyno numbers.
My car makes over 400rwhp/400rwtq on motor, and nearly 600rwhp on spray.

I know there are mods that I am missing too. Basically, to make this an all out drag car, I'd suggest getting some Hal QA1s (or similar), etc. There are a couple small quirks (I need to tighten header bolts), but the car runs smooth and was professionally built.
Seriously, if you are planning on building a killer street setup it will cost you much much more. I have spent about $20k through Speed, Inc. And about $5000-10000 through other site sponsors and local shops.
I just have a kid comming and I have put less than 300 miles on the car in the past year. I live in MN and can only drive the car during the summer. When I first got it I drove it like crazy, now I really can't. At one point I had a 2005 GTO and that was my daily driver and the Z28 was a weekend warrior when needed.

Like I said, I am willing to negotiate. Incase you didn't know, the SS is mainly cosmetic as the suspension may have a different option... but most people would change the suspension anyways once they hit the drag strip. You are limiting your search for a great car based on a ram air hood and a flip up spoiler...
But, its your car search.
EDIT: And, you already have an SS? Why not have both?

I've been thinking about selling my car, for the right price of course. I don't know if it's what you're looking for, but it meets some of your criteria.
2002 Camaro SS SEBRING SILVER METALLIC
25,000 miles
Kooks Longtube headers (1 3/4") and Kooks ORY
SLP Dual/Dual Exhaust (Dual Tip Centermount, SLP option)
I still have the stock rear end, but i just recently purchased a ROCK ON 4L60E transmission (Maybe 500 miles on it, still has warranty). It has a 3400 stall Fuddle High Performance Street Converter (not the regular performance converter).
Lingenfelter Gt2-3 cam with Patriot Dual Springs (this combo has MAYBE 1000 miles on it)
UMI tunnel mounted T/A with integrated driveshaft loop. UMI Panhard Rod, UMI LCAs (non adjustable). Bilstein suspension package as SLP option. SLP bolt in SFCs and BMR STB.
It's a t-top car that is near mint. The only blemishes on the car are a very, very tiny dent in the rear quarter panel (I think it's from chassis flex or something, very easily removed by paintless dent removal, it's on my to do list); and the rear bumper slightly bows up near the driver side taillight, it's barely noticeable, but would probably require some body work since the bumper is plastic. Aside from these two things, the car is gorgeous. Stored winters (as you can tell by the low miles) and it's not daily driven.
18" Polished Z06 style wheels with 255/35/18 Pirelli P-Zeros up front, and 285/35/18 Nitto Drag Radials on the rear. The tires have about 90% tread left on them.
I noticed you said $17k was somewhat of a guide for you, but I would like to get around $22,000 for mine. Call me crazy, but you I've got a lot of $$ and time invested, and I'd hate to settle for less.
I will however entertain offers.
Thanks for looking.

Im sure you have an awesome car, but its gonna be hard to get 22k for it. not because its not worth it, but these cars arent bringing the money we would all like to see.
I got a modded 01 ss right now im selling, and its hard to get the 14,900 asking price im asking. Thanks for the offer though. Its just out of my price range.

I figure if someone wants to pay me what I think it's worth I'll let it go, otherwise I'm better off keeping it forever. That is, if I can resist all the new muscle that's out there...Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, etc, etc.
Hang in there though, there are some good cars out there for 17k, it's good being an enthusiast, we know what to look for when buying.
