Default lash caps with ARE heads

I'm trying to track down a ticking from my engine (suspect lifter at this point) and I had my rockers and pushrods out. I have old ARE LS1 heads and they came setup with lash caps and 7.20" pushrods. When I was putting the rockers back on, I noticed I was missing a lash cap on one valve. I don't know if I lost it when I took the rocker arm off or if it was missing this whole time

In any event, does anyone know what the proper size lash caps were used with ARE Stage 2 LS1 heads? It's not like I can call them

Probably 11/32 caps... I used to work there... Can you measure the valve tip width with a dial caliper? I should have spares kicking around I can send you.

SLED, why did they use lash caps and shorter puhrods back then? Wouldn't it be easier for him to buy a set of correct legnth pushrods and be done with it?

Thats what I would have done... You can mess around a bit more with preload though b/c the caps are .080 thick ...
