Default LT1 car Draglite wheel owners in here please

Well ive used the search option and i seem to think that the LT1 rearends are narrower than the LS1 rearends.Im trying to determine the backspacing for some Draglites i can get my hands on the backspacing on them are 4.5 on an 8 inch wheel.Anyone else running this 4.5 backspacing on thier LT1 rearend if not what are you guys running??

for an 8" wheel you need 5.5" BS
for a 10" wheel you need 7.5" BS

I am running a set of 15x8.5" convo pro's w/5" BS and they stick out approx 1" to far

So lets just get a clarification here. Only the LSx cars have to grind brakes due to the larger brake setup. LTx owners can basically use any rim with the right offset/backspacing and tire combo?
