Default help heads and cam

my buddy has a 1999 c5 with the comp 224 228 581 581 cam on 112 we are trying to figure out if fly cutting is needed ........the heads are millid they are patriot stage 2 ls6 head 59c thanks for the help

That looks like the C2 cam from MTI and to my caculations you could be fine but maybe someone knows something I dont. Hope this helps.

My guess is that you would be closer than the recommended 0.100" PV clearance. I'm not sure though.

If they are our out of the box stage II 59cc heads, they will be right at factory deck height. We have not heard of cutomers with cams similar to these having any PTV issues, however ALWAYS check PTV clearance.
