Cold-crap! Warm-good?
Ok, here is my problem when my car is cold it runs like crap almost like it is
missing until it warms up, Then it cleans it self out and runs great until I turn it
off for a couple minutes and go drive some more and it has to clean it self out again . What could cause this to happen and what are some things can I check on to make it run better....any suggestions

the LS1's do run richer when the motor is cold. This may be what you are experiencing. The motors are more torquey down low, but also seem more hesitant when they are running cold.

i'd say his injectors are clogged. engines need more fuel when they are colder because they RPM higher. if his injectors are clogged, it'll act like it's missing when it's cold and once it's hot and it requires less fuel, it'll lean out a tad.
run a 5 dollar can of seafoam through your gas tank, see if that fixes it. i'm serious, even if it doesn't fix the problem, you'll probably pick up an extra 1 mpg.
