IMO GT3's are probably the best cars in the Porsche line up (excluding th GT). porsches are also one of the easiest cars to drift, the first time i drove one i powerslid it around a nice corner near work and was amazed at how smooth and easy it was to hold the slide. Much more stable in a slide an F-body or even a C5. that's why magazines always say Posche's handle better than vettes, it's just so easy to drive it hard.

Wow, that was crazy, it takes somes ***** to slide a half-million dollar car around curves like that.

Don't quote me because he was talking so fast, but he said it was a 3.6 Liter, 8,XXX redline, it can go 160 KM/h (100 mph) in 8.7 seconds, top speed of 310 KM/h (192.5 mph), and costs 408,380 euros.

The new GT3 should cost around $110k US.

One of my favorite cars...ever. All motor, light weight, and all business.

I've looked into the 996 body style GT3s. But the new 997s are just sick. They now come with a stereo, and they are less then a 100 pounds heavier. And of course, Porsche has added more power, as they always do with the body styles.

You got it all right except for the price.... that was 108,380 euros.

The rest of all the talking was basically just all techincal jargon, the fact that their are no rear seats, and that for extra money you can get the carbon fiber sport seats. The car is only marginally slower to 100 mph than the Porsche Turbo, and later in the year they will come out with a GT3 RS package, and there will also be a racing package for track use. Aside from that he talked about the tranny, the suspension with it's two modes, and naturally about the engine.

The guy driving it, Walter Roehrl, is a former World Rally Champion who always tests for Porsche, although he really got famous in the Audi Quattro of the 80's.

And yeah...I do speak german

Very cool, I thought that was a lot of $$ for that car. That's pretty awesome you can speak german so well, I just finished with my german certificate at TX A&M and I've been trying to keep up with it, since I'm not gonna get to go back to germany for a while. Where did you learn it so well?
