You need to start with your 60'
By the looks of the video... you might have left at 2k, but it looks like you just about dumped the clutch and then floored it. You have a stout clutch which can take more abuse than that. Try leaving at even 3k and slip the clutch a little and be smoother on the throttle and you'll leave harder with less wheel spin. Dropping the clutch like that might work on slicks and a strong rear... but you'll need to modulate your clutch & gas more to get a better 60'. What do you have for tires?

Yeah 2500 or 3 like Naut said. but feather the clutch and get the rolling start then hammer on it. check my profile for run times. i did a 13.8 with 330rwhp at 104ish i was like wtf. So I went out and got LCA's and 18's with Z rated tires instead of H rated 16's. Did that feather of clutch and dropped 1/8 mile time from 9.06 to 8.62. No new times on the current setup. hope that helps

With this already being said lets go from there.
Get a torque arm and sfc's along with a pan hard rod bar and the enjoy 12.6's.
You need suspension work. After modding several f-body's I have come to realise most of them are usless without Suspension work. Put that power to the ground and lose less P thrue the bending of you stock parts.

Need to practice leaving, thats where its all at. I spent many days racing, and have seen 5 tenths from just learning how to drive a stick car to max potential. I used to leave at 3200-4000 on street tires (Eagle F1s, ridgestone Potenzas) and cut 1.81-1.93 60 fts. Lots of clutch modulation going on
Get a good tire and it will help, along with the basic suspension pieces. Wheel hop alot of times is incorrect LCA angle, driving style, or beat bushings in control arms and such

ive tried different launches but none seam to work for me.
and i dident want to use a D/R on the stock rear.
so im buying a 9" with 4.11s with a set of d/rs and i wont have a problem.
i might give teh track another shot be for the new rear thoe
