We are looking for 2 Airline Tickets to Las Vegas for June 30- July 4th for our anniversary. No airline preferred but would like to beat current airfare deals. Please PM us if anyone knows of any good travel agents that could help us.

Thanks,

Priceline (name your own price) is still one of the best deals going. Nexttag.com is good for shopping.

Do you have a hotel booked already? You can usually get a better deal booking the flight/hotel together. Still though airfare to Vegas from DFW is $220-260 no matter how you book it unless priceline can do something for you.

I booked my trip to Vegas through Expedia.com and I couldnt find a travel agent that could match the price.

4 nights at NY/NY and direct airfair(continental) both ways, was 372 a person. Was over 400 a person with every travel agent I called.

Okay I will try priceline. I had booked one before and it was a nightmare.

Thanks,
Amber

You know who is better then priceline, travelocity, expidia and the rest...its the actual airlines web site. The key is go to the above listed sites and do a search and see what airlines it comes up with the lowest price then go to that airlines website and you will most likely find it cheaper. I have done this several times and I have beat the above websites every time.

NY/NY keeps offering me $49 a night midweek with a $50 gaming credit. I've never stayed there but I sure liked the casino. Are the rooms pretty nice? I'm wondering about how quiet a hotel can be with a roller coaster through the middle of it.

I stayed at the Hilton last time and it was decent. For the money it's hard to beat but their pool was always closed and was actually hard to find. The monorail station was nice though and their breakfast buffet was tough to beat.

Next time I'm either staying at NY/NY, Harrahs or Mandalay Bay though. Unless of course the Wynn sends me a sweet deal on a room.

First trip I stayed at Harrahs, it was nice. Rooms were fine, but its an older casino so its just not the same as NY/NY, but it was still nice. It was cool because it was pretty much in the middle of the strip.

NY/NY, our room was very nice. We had a strip view on the 29th floor. It was one of the larger rooms, and it was actually pretty pimp. The noise wasnt bad at all, they shut the coast down at midnight I think and I was never in before that anyway. It was cool because there are 4 cool bars in the place and a shitload of little restaurants, but its at the end of the strip so you have to walk alot.

Next time I think I'm gonna stay at The Paris. It had a kickass casino and was in the middle of the strip.

But I would give NY/NY the thumbs up, was a cool place to stay.

Joe you will enjoy it! I'm posting from the Mirage right now. We came during a heatwave so a 104-106degree Temps is a little diff for me, but the Casinos are kept at just the right temperature.

I am planning another trip for a friends 21st Birthday and we've been using Expedia and Hotels.com Both seem really nice, but I'm not sure how they are on airfair we are using them for just the hotel reservations.

Well we should get together. We just booked thru Continental.com vacation special and will be staying at Treasure Island. I finally talked joe into going so it was a miracle. On friday we are going ATV riding for the day. We have a polaris and love to ride. Should be great fun.

Thanks,
Amber

I was told this by someone who goes to vegas alot....Pick a casino that you want to stay at and call them... tell them that you are going to be spending most of your time gambling...and have THEM setup the flight and your room. you pay the casino.

He was telling me that he and his wife flew to vegas...were picked up in a limo...stayed for 4 or 6 days and cost them like 375/person (or somewhere close to that)...and it was all setup through the casino.

That's the best deal that I have heard of....outside of having a friend that works for the airline willing to hook you up with a travel voucher.

Have fun Amber...Im sure you and Joe could use the break

Got a deal from the Wynn yesterday! $119 per night and $150 free play with a stay, not too shabby. It's more expensive on the room than anywhere else but normally they are $239 a night.
