prayer request.....
well my family and i just found out about 3 weeks ago that my mom who is only 41 has been diagnosed with malignant melanoma skin cancer. She had surgery last week which resulted in 2 lymphnodes near her neck and one under her arm being removed along with a chunk of skin removed from her back. The cancer center she went to is reviewing what they removed as we speak and we should know how far it has gotten by friday. (june 9th) Once we get the results as to how far it has developed the doctors will go over our options as far as treatment goes. Hopefully my dads work insurance will cover a lot of the cost as far as chemotherapy or radiation if it gets that bad. I have already volunteered to sell my car if we have to go that route to keep my family from going into debt.
The past few weeks have been stressful as hell for me. I pray every night that things will turn out ok. I was just hoping to gain a few more prayers from everyone here to help out. Thank you and i will keep everyone updated on how it turns out.

In November of '04, we found out my mom has a thumb sized tumor at the base of her brain. Was the scariest thing I've ever been told.
For almost two weeks, nobody in my family could sleep or eat because we didnt know if it was malignant or not. It really was about the hardest thing my family has gone though, but we found out it was non cancerous and that for the most part it wont affect her lifespan or health in general.
Only reason I'm telling you is because as bad as everything seems right now, remember that things can get better.
I'll make sure to pray for you and the rest of your family.
