Default MTI Lid Install

Is there anything special about doing this on my car or can i just follow the whisper lid instructions at install university? Being an 02...what kinda filter should i get if i dont get the K&N...and what does that air hose do anyway?

yes you install that lid jsut as you would any other lid. that air pump hose sucks air from your lid to go to your AIR pump on your ehaders. you can get a later 2000 model lid and jsut purt one of those little small K&N breather filters on the end of it and tie it down out of the way, plus it amkes it look better

Just follow installu's directions. You can pick up a filter at your local parts store if you don't want to pay the the K&N breather filter. Don't restrict/kink the air hose though, it'll throw an air code.
