228/232 on a 110 LSA--Anybody running one??
Just ordered a 228/232 588/592 on 110+1 on XE-R lobes and was curious if anyone was running anything similiar on a 110. I see many running something close to this on a 114 or 112 but never on a 110. The ones that are just wanted to get a little feedback. Power, sound,??

I have an XER 228/232 (.588/.595) 110 +2 sitting at the shop, i'm waiting on my heads to be done to throw it in.
There is a guy on there that spec'd the same cam that made pretty good power cam only though a 12 bolt awhile back.

well he said that many people are running it on a 114 and a 112 so i just wanted to say that i was one of the 112 people. if its on a 110 it will have 2* more overlap and have a slight amount more low end tq. its not going to be that much different to tell you the truth. it will sound a little more lopey also. WTF is your aannnddd **** supposed to mean. not like it is you ******* thread. i was just trying to help him out if he wants to ask me anything about it since i have just about what he is wanting.

Seems like the guy's name was Josh. He had it on a 110 +2. Very nice midrange and low with peak hp coming at about 6300 w/ a shiftpoint about 6500. If I remember correctly this cam didnt really fall off that bad at all after peak hp either. I'll probably go with this cam.

The 112+4 is a 42 IVC
The 110+1 is a 43 IVC
so the 110+1 will peak later than the 112+4 (by ~ 100 rpm)

Here's a similar cam, that I'm really thinking about running.

Im running a 228/232 .600 110lsa Idles pretty rough. Its a 6 speed and before I put gears in (4.10's) it seemed like it had no power below 3500 rpm. Im still running the crane powermax tuner but I think it still needs a dyno tune.

Your first post implies that you're an imbecile, and this one confirms it.
