Default oil leak new eng.

have oil leak at front seal new tsp 347 short block under drive pulley i used all gm gen. 3 tools from dealer where i work as a tech. anyone had problems with pulley causing oil leaks started leaking at 210 miles i am going to replace the seal tomorrow hope it stops the leak

Did you align the cover before or after installing the crankshaft seal? The manual states to do it after, on my old motor I did it before and never leaked a drop in the 17k miles. Also look on the pulley to see if there is a wear mark that might indicate a machining error or high spot.

cover was aligned per manual using tools per manual also has new pulley i am a gm tech at a dealer cover should be right i have done this many times on gen. 3 eng. with no leaks just not sure about under drive pulley?

found front seal came out of cover going to glue new seal back in place anyone seen this problem
