Default Headlight grinding/vibrating/not working.

1. Manually crank malfunctioning headlamp to the full up position.
2. Remove black plastic shroud around headlamp to gain easier access to bolts for motor.
3. Remove motor. It is held on by 3 bolts. Disconnect actuating arm from motor shaft. This is held on by one nut on the end of the motor shaft. It requires a 10mm wrench for all 4 fasteners.
4. Take the motor to the work bench and carefully pry off the cover from the gear box.
5. Once the cover is off, you will see a nylon gear about 2 inches in diameter. There should be a spot on it where the teeth are damaged or ground off from the metal gear that meshes with it. This is where the problem resides. Flip the gear 180* so that the un-damaged portion is in the former place of the damaged portion
6. Use some epoxy glue to glue the cover back on. Re-install the motor in the reverse order.

If you want a PERMANENT fix that will last the life of the vehicle, and dont mind spending the extra clams, here

This should fix the issue as the headlight only uses HALF the gear.

(I accept no responsibility for ppl who try this, it worked for me, although this is a short version and im sure some particulars are left out, it is pretty accurate and anything left out should be very self exclamatory)

HERE!!! STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT HEADLIGHT MOTORS AND SOMEONE STICKY THIS IT KEEPS COMING UP!!!
