How do I know if these springs are real 1LE?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1LE-S...QQcmdZViewItem
The seller responded to my inquiry as to whether or not he can authenticate them as real 1LE springs saying that he bought them himself off eBay and did notice a difference upon install but has no official means of verifying they are really what he says they are.
Anybody got any input?
Of course, now that I've posted the link, I'll likely have to compete against some of you in the auction if I decide to have a try at them.

I had actually looked at those springs as well, but decided that they were likely not 1le springs. If you do your research...the 1le cars are quite rare so the chance of those springs being real isn't too high especially since they were not even stock in his car.

It is possible to purchase the 1LE-spec parts from GM and install them on a car that wasn't originally built as a 1LE.

If you ask a dealer, they should be able to cross-reference from the original number to get the current number.
If you learn what any of the numbers have been updated to, post them and I'll update my list
