Cammed T/A vs. EK Civic Hatch I was hanging out with some friends the other night, and one of the friends says he is supposed to run some POS Civic that breaks down all the time. (He has a 99 T/A with some bolt-ons and a cam, makes like 380 rwhp.) They say its fast but he was laughing and telling me last time somebody else ran the guy they killed him. (The Civic) Anyway, one of the guys friend's shows up and said he would be here soon and wants to run from a 40.
So its set. All of sudden I hear this crazy noise from half way down the street, and this damn Civic pulls in the gas station, loud as hell. It didn't have an exhaust, no hood, etc. I know what you are thinking. ******* rice piece of ****. Well, I would have thought so too, if it wasn't for the big *** turbo hanging out of the hood and the huge *** slicks it was rolling on. I looked at my friend with the T/A and the expression on hise face was priceless. I said, "Is this the car that y'all destroyed?" He looked at me funny and shook his head yes. Then he said, " But the turbo wasn't that big and it wasn't hanging out where the hood should go." I laughed.
So these two head out. I was riding behind them with another friend. They hit it at a sign and this damn Civic is leaving one black mark from a 40 roll, smoking these slicks with one tire.
I was laughing so hard, as this hatch was walking the dog on the T/A. I don't know how far it was ahead, but it looked like a couple buslengths when they quit. After the race, everyone was looking at this dudes car. It was a built H22 with a T66 at 20 lbs. Crazy thing was this was the stock tranny and no LSD. He made 507 whp at the local dyno. Moral of the story, don't make fun of a dude's car if you haven't seen it lately, he'll get revenge on your *** and make you look stupid.
BTW, I don't have a vid of the race since my vid doesn't have nightshot, but I have a vid of the guy at the track running. I'll upload it soon.

He ran 7.8 at 96 in the 1/8th on 12 lbs. of boost. And again he was spinning one tire down the track.

this is exactly why i refuse to race from a roll. just slap a big turbo on some light little shitbox with 1 wheel drive and you can beat up on people from a roll. too bad that piece of **** probably run high 11's with a 130mph + trap. not impressed.

Now those guys driving f360s and sl65 may think that but my comments are by the posters original comments not by the video that was posted later.
Besides, those high class people just don't like american muscle.
And early mirage's and civics are just death traps, entirely too small for the road in my opinon.
