Default HPPIII???

I have a 1999 Camaro SS with a few mods... but i'm always bumping my rev limiter i have it set at 6300r's and my car seems to wanna pull higher than that but i don't want to go ne higher cuz i'm worried about bending a rod. So for ya'll that know more do u think it's ok if i bump my limiter to 64 or 6500r's? I have not done ne thing internally to my engine just bolt on power...

What advantage do you think raising the Rev limiter is going to give you? Our cars make peak power at 5,700 rpm. With your current setting of 6,300 you are fine. Are you hitting your rev limiter at the end of the track?

6400+ sounds high for stock internals. If something were to happen, im sure your warrenty would be voided.

Stock valvetrain - stock rev limiter need to go hand in hand for safety.

I thought since my car seems to keep pulling at high R's that it would help to give it more RPM range... No i'm not bumping the rev limiter at the end comes out around 56 or 5700 r's... But ya'll are right it's better to stay on the safe side... My warranty is gone ne wayz I only have 22,000 miles but it's a 99 I purchased extended but I wouldn't expecto to cover ne thing under it... Thanx for the reply's guyz I guess i'll leave it alone at 6300R's...
