What else is needed? I have ls1 injectors. I know i'll need injector wiring adapters from katech (unless some else makes some). Anything else?

LS1 injectors will not fit an LS2 intake since the injector holes in the intake are larger than those in an LS1.. So to be clear.. are you looking to run and LS2 intake, LS1 injectors and FAST fuel rails?

Let me know

Yes, Ls2 intake, ls1 injectors, FAST rails. Pig tail adapters and ls1 o-rings is all, correct?

who sells the ls2 to ls1 adapters besides katech?

Is the same true for an LS7 intake? Injector bosses are larger then LS1/6 intakes?

Yes, the right O-rings and pigtails.. Katech sells both I do believe.

I wonder it there is any downside to running the thicker O-rings?

And yes, this would be the same on an LS7...

Still confused here, caino said LS-1 o-rings are needed, but I have a feeling those are the wrong 0-rings, but Steve, you said they were the right ones? Shit, i'll probably just go to the hardware store and find the right ones for 2 cents a piece haha.

ls1 style orings for ls1 style injectors.

So, if you're using LS1-style injectors in a LS2 manifold, and the LS2 manifold has larger holes then the LS1 manifold, then how are the LS1-style o-rings going to work? Thats what I'm confused about.

They won't.. I do believe Katech makes a kit to do this..

Using LS1 style o-rings in an LS2 intake would result in.. oh.. fire? lol

Maybe you could use a thicker O-ring on the LS1 injector? Also, using an LS1 injector will raise the fuel rail since the injectors are longer.. that means you need spacers as well..

I'm running a FAST intake with FAST fuel logs. I was going to run LS2 injectors but it got to be too big a PITA so I am switching to LS1 style. FAST is working on a kit to fix this but it isn't out yet.

Here's the kit from Katech..

If you you use the Katech o-rings and cut the crossover tube on LS1 fuel rail then put in a short length of good hose to extend the crossover ~1" inch you can use a LS1 fuel rail and it fits perfect. I have a spare for cheap if you do not want to cut yours.

Well, thats interesting, but I already ordered the LS7 fuel rail haha.

Thanks!

I had to use LS1 o-rings on my LS2 injectors in a FAST intake so I am assuming the reverse is true. Looked like the inner diameter of the o-rings were the same... one was just thicker.

Incidentally, Ford 4.6 injector lower o-rings will work in the LS1 manifolds.
