I am doing a LS6 valley cover upgrade on my LS1. I checked and the LS1 and LS6 valley cover gaskets are the same. Can I resuse the old valley cover gasket or do I need to buy a new one? I don't want to buy a new one "just because I'm in there." Has anyone had a used valley cover gasket leak??

Yes you can reuse the valley cover gasket on the LS series engines..no problemo...
