Which converter 382 stroker

Which converter 382 stroker ive got a 382 stroker, stg2 patriots, ls6 intake, 24x/24x .595/.595 cam, level 6 tranny. full weight 99 z28. my shiftpoints will be around6800-7000. will also have 150 wet shot. what would be a good conveter size and str? mainly a street car off the bottle but need it to preform well on the bottle as well.

Depends on what you can tolerate on the street and if you want to get max performance. I'm with SDB on the PT 4000, I think that would be best for getting good performance and have ok street manners.

Talk to the guys at Fuddle. I also have a 382 with heads/cam. They told me its all based on your power output. I shift at 6500rpm, and the stroker puts out over 400rwtq starting at 3500rpm. It then stays well above 450rwtg all the way up. They recommended sticking with a smaller convertor, such as a 3200 for the strokers. Never hurts to see what they say.
