Default help start my car....

Ive done just about everything with my car, so im not sure where to start. What are some things to look for when I turn the key, my lights dim and then get brighter. It is a brand new battery, the motor does not do anything, no cranking no sound of a starter. What should I check and double check?

I would check the wiring to the starter, and if everything checks out there, take the starter off and have it checked.

On the passengers side wiring, There are two wires with solderless conectors on them... one is yellow and one is duel black with white stripes going down them.... Do these go to 12V power or to ground?

check the voltage at the starter with the cable hooked up. if your getting 11.6 volts or higher you should be fine. now if thats ok, check the voltage at the purple wire the starter relay wire while trying to crank it.. you should have close to 12v on that, if not there is a problem with that wire. did you relocate the battery to the back and if so what gauge batter wire did you use to wire it with???
