Default shitty launches

in my h\c car thats full of suspension mods including qa-1's and nittos i cant seem to cut better than a 1.7 60"

the car has a tci ssf 3500 stall and 3.73 gears i usally run the 315-35-17 nittos at 17lbs hot and do a small burnout before launching. during the launch i stall to about 2k then floor it... it seems that i get good weight transfer but i still get too much wheel spin

CAN ANYONE RECCOMEND A BETTER WAY TO LAUNCH?

Have you tried adjusting the suspension any? Is 17lbs in the tires enough? Seems like a radial would be too flat at 17lbs, maybe riding the sidewalls. Im sure a 15 inch wheel and a 26-28 inch tall tire would be alot better for you.

Get a set of 16" camaro wheels and put on a set of 26 X 10.5 or 11.5 ET streets then go back and I bet you cut a lot better 60ft.

I keep my 315/35/17 Nittos at about 23 psi and that is on a 17x11.
get a good amount of smoke in the burn out box.

Stall to just under 3000 RPM and release the brake and rollinto the throttle.
With that i can get myself into the low 1.6's everytime.
Best being 1.61 all motor, stock internals and FULL weight with 3:42's.

Good luck.

if you are spinning, why do you keep flooring it? roll into the throttle with nittos.

when you see slight bit of smoke, they are ready. most do huge burnouts. just getting an oily tire.
