Default Is it possible for an automatic tranny?

well guys i have a 4l60e tranny on my truck and im always downshifting on it is it bad when you do that..ill be thnankful if ya can post some so I can know or stop doing that. thanks

I don't think it is really bad for the transmission. However, think of what the downshifting of it does. You are adding rpms, heat, etc. to it which are factors that aid in the demise of a tranny. I don't really see much of a reason to downshift it unless you are doing it when you are about to race someone. Just let the computer do it, that is why you have an auto in the first place.

Its bad, you can lose clutch packs and such.
