Full Rt/Lft wheel turn from stop > Front wheels jump & skip
I know, from the subject of this post, it makes no sense.
Anyway, lets say I am at a dead stop. Turn the steering wheel full right or left, and then start very slowly moving forwards. What happens is that the front tires feel like they are skipping or sliding or jumping, if you know what I mean. I know it sounds silly, but if it happens to your car, you know what I am talking about. It seems to have gottin worse lately. This 98 TA has the standard 275/40-17 tires with 9" rims on it (ZR-1). The tires are wearing evenly and are at the correct air pressure.
Anyone know what I am talking about, or have an idea whats going on? I wouldn't think the ball joints are wore out. BTW, the car has 36,000 miles on it.
Thanks,
Ron
