Default would this pass emiision...

ok so i am planning on buy a pacesetter long tube ls1 headers with ypipe with cats, i am planning on keeping the EGR and Air that should pass the emmision right? or should i remove them? i live in california so i want to stay legal as much as possible, and what kind of tuned should i get after i install them thanks and i have v8 now instead of v6

It depend on the testing, But I've read that Long Tube Headers are not legal in cali because it changes the location of the catalityc converters. Mid-Tubes and shorties may be ok. I'm sure a local can chime in. As far as the EGR and Air definately keep them.

you will fail...only heads that you can use are ones that will hook up to the stock y pipe..cause you CAN'T move the cats at all. I believe the only headers that do that are shorties.

i think they also must have a CARB number on them to. I can't fully remember but I thought you had to prove they where CARB approved.

In CA anything you put on your car must have a C.A.R.B number on it. Long tubes will not pass. Sorry but you live in the toughest place in the nation for emsisions.

Supercharger. Look for one with a C.A.R.B number. Those are legal in CA. I think a turbo is legal too with a C.A.R.B number. Big bucks though I know.
