Southern Members - Tires to borrow in the Montgomery area for Friday night.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a set of tires, either unmounted 16's, or mounted on lightweight (i.e. stock 16's or lighter) wheels to use for a shot at the SI List this Friday night.

I've been thinking about it alot, and I HONESTLY believe that I can break a 11.807 to get on the list.

I'd be willing to pay for a set of inexpensive used tires, or give someone some money to let me use some wheels/tires that meet the above description.

They would have to fit an unground caliper, BTW.

Also, if someone could let me borrow some skinnies, there would be some cash for the use of those too...

Stock Internal List. Stock long block as it came from the factory.

Current break in is 11.807.

If someone will let me borrow their tires, I'm offering $25 for the rear tires, and $15 for the skinnies, just for letting me borrow them. They'll be returned in excellent condition, and anything that I break, I'll gladly pay for.

Good job guys, glad no one broke. On another note we know what is wrong with the Camaro....the clutch let go. I think its been in the car 14 months and I seriously doubt its got 2,000 miles on it and one of the springs in the clutch plate just came off. It's damaged the flywheel among other things. Guess RAM has some explaning to do, I hope that something good will come out of this. Here's hoping. Safe to say when this gets fixed the camaro will not be seeing the track again for a while, we're sick of fixing cars 24-7.
