Question polished wheel upkeep

what do you guys with polished wheels use to keep them clean ??
my car is not a daily driver but after washing the car a few times they start to loose shine. i use tropicare carwash and microfibers. also they look a little hazy in some spots and i cant get them very shiny. i have used mothers and tropicare metal polish.

I've always used mother's billet polish with a microfiber applicator and then removed the polish with a microfiber towel. I usually polish every other wash

Since you use Tropi-Care. All you need is some metal polish and 2 or 3 of our gray microfiber towels.

simple green full strength to clean with...spray it on warm or cool wheels, let sit for 60 seconds, spray again, wipe with clean towel. rinse well. This cleans the aluminum real good. then polish with whatever you want.

NO NO NO on Simple Green!!!! YIKES . . . No chemicals WHAT SO EVER on bare aluminum . . . Not for me no way.

I second the Mothers Billet. Flitz works well to.

Plished wheels are a labor of love. Must give then a little polish at EVERY wash.

I have had my Boyd Blasters for at least three years, never polished them, always simple green them at every wash. Looks fine to me. Then again, I am a racer not a detail guy!
