altitude and tunning
We are just returning from a trip to Coral Pink sand dunes in utah, elavation at 6500 feet. Are sand rails were tuned at dam near sea level, my wide band dfi gen 7 was not even able to correct for the altitude. Had to break out the lap top and strat tunning, my question is how much hp do you loose for every 1000 feet in altitude.

I'd guess about 3~4% of your HP is lost at each 1000-foot interval. That's why lightly modded f-bodies will run 13.8-14.0 at 5,000+ ft.
