Car has to be up high. You'll be looking down the nose when you stand in front of it. You mayhave to take off the oil filter. If it's time for a change, now's the time. You may also need to unbolt driver's side motor mount and raise the engine carefully with a jack to get the driver's side in. Most of all...BE PATIENT! You may need to take a break! The end result will be worth it!

Re: What am I in for??????
I've done a couple of Hooker LT installs. The first took about 16 hours <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> (kept having to go to the store for stuff). The second only took 6 hours. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
If you get the car high enough you shouldn't have to unbolt the motor mounts. I didn't have to on either of the 2 I did. You also don't have to remove the filter, however, you will need to remove the "oil diverter plate" that is directly above the filter. You also may have to remove the steering shaft. I've heard some say they didn't have to, but I did on both installs.
And yes... Patience is a vurtue!
Good Luck! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
