Default running true duals with stock exhaust.

currently i have a 2002 z. i have a lm catback.
any benifit in running a true dual setup from the manifolds back? ill be leaving the cats in. any input is appreciated. also can they exit in the stock locations? thanks.

I would just leave the LM in there cause your already flowing pretty good with that cat-back. I think true duals would only change the sound of your exhaust and depending on which mufflers you go with, your LM might be better. We've been doing some comparisons between duals and cat backs. Most of them are running neck and neck. If you're looking for performance, it's not worth it, but you can't beat the sound of duals <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

P.S. One of the results with just a couple mods, Lid and TB (I think) w/LM outdynoed an "almost" identical set-up w/ 3" catted duals by 5rwhp and about 4rwtq.
