Default Magnaflow a go?

I want to get a new exhaust very soon and i'm very close to buying the Magnaflow system and just want any final opinions on the system. I prefer a system that looks nice, sounds mean at WOT and has a noticeable idle sound. Nothin too loud where i will hear it inside the car or to the point where i can't hear the radio or someone.

Magnaflow is one of the highest flowing and quietest exhaust around. I don't know that it will sound mean enough for what you want because it is fairly quiet. You'll have to listen to it before you know whether or not its aggressive enough for what you want.

Is it louder then the stock ws6 exhaust? I thought Magnaflow had a good deep sound to it?

It's louder than the stock exhaust by a long shot.

It sounds perfect for what you're looking for. Idle to 2500 rpms and it's nice and grumbly but not really loud enough to hear inside the car (just a little bit). After that, it SCREAMS.

I've been thinking about getting one for awhile, or at least when I get LT's.

Had a Flowmaster 80 series, replaced it with the Magnaflow muffler. Have FLP's and the sound is definitely fuller at idle and not a cop caller tooling around town. No drone on the freeway like the Flowmaster, but when you stand on it, it really sounds great.

Can't go wrong.

A real nice deep tone, not annoyingly loud. I love my magnaflow
