Any suggestions would be great. I installed my hooker headers around 4 months ago. I had them for about a year. They have been wonderful until the egr mess just broke off while driving? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I have only been under the hood to check my oil yesterday and there is nothing there for the headers to knock against AIR! and EGR! mods were done when the headers were installed. I purchased them new and still in the box from ebay. They are not Jet Hot coated. Any suggestions on contacting them for some help or replacement. Or do I just buy more <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
Anyone need an EGR block off plate? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Are you talking the tubes that the EGR stuff hooks up to? Also, have you eliminated the EGR stuff in your car, so you don't really need it anyway? If so, just go to a good muffler shop and have them weld the hole closed. Probably cost you about $10.00 to have it done.

Thats what I was thinking but will the heat from the welder damage my engine its on the bend of the header so its not that close.

Also I hope a moderator can delete my duplicate posts. I am on a friends goofy computer and I promise you I only hit the button once and the screen froze for 1 minute. Then I see all the posts.

No, heat won't be an issue. They'll use a wire fed mig welder, very quick and neat.
