I just got a Powerbond pulley. Only had it on the car a few days. My only concern is the fact that they cause the water pump to turn slower and with 110 degree temperatures. Little off topic but has anyone had any issues with over heating with a UD pulley?

I was looking at the powerbond pully. Seems like a nice pully for the cash. What do you think of it overall other than your water pump concern?

Other than that concern which may just be me being paranoid, everything sems to be great. I like the higher side walls, and it seems to be very well built. Not really a mod you can feel at 8 or so HP. But the car does seem to rev a little faster.

I have a SLP pulley which is the same as the power bond. But I use a electric water pump. No problems here. Works fine.

I personally like the ASP pulleys. I've had one installed for 4+ years now and it's never let me down or given me any trouble whatsoever.

The waterpump will pump more than the thermostat will flow. Since the thermostat is still there, you should not worry about it too much. Pump speed is not the limiting factor in the system.

Back on topic I ended up going with the powerbond/SLP because of the higher side walls. The price isn't that bad, I went through TSP I think it ended up being about $160 with belts, bolt and shipping. You have to call to get the package.
