If you plan to run cats:

-2 high flow cats (Carsound or Random-Tech)
-exhaust shop to fab up a Y-pipe
-2 GM header gaskets (part no. 12558573)
-3 band clamps
-'98 AIR tubes (part no. 12559188 & 12559189)
-'98 EGR pump
-Tube of anti-seize
-O2 extensions
-O2 simms for rear sensors

If you plan to run no cats:

-Hooker ORY
-O2 simms
-4 band clamps
-O2 extensions
-Tube of anti-seize
-AIR block off plates
-'98 EGR pump
-GM exhaust gaskets (part no. 12558573)

What Y-pipe are you using? Cats/no cats?

If you are just using the Hooker y-pipe, you need:

O2 simms (for rear)
O2 extensions (for front)
Tube of anti-seize
'98,'99 EGR pump (or bend your stock 2k one to fit, PITA)
'98,'99 A.I.R. Tubes (again, you can bend these to fit, again PITA)

If you are interested, I have a pair of '99 AIR tubes and a '99 EGR pump that will fit your headers. PM me if you are interested.

I would also get new header gaskets. Not a must, but worth it IMO. Also DO NOT use the header bolts that come with the headers! They SUCK! Either use the stock ones again or get some Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts. Also worth it IMO.

Hadn't seen you plan to run true duals. You won't need the Y-pipe like you stated, but if you plan to run cats you need the '98 AIR tubes because your '00 ones won't fit the connections on the long tubes. Either that or you can bend your stock AIR tubes to fit the headers, but you risk breaking them (the AIR tubes). I haven't really heard any bad things about the Hooker LT install, except for the fact that you're going to need O2 extensions for the front O2's and it's better to run O2 simms in the back, because if you do put O2's back there, they probably won't get good readings and throw an SES light.

This is what I sent to another guy on this site who asked.

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif"> I've done a couple of Hooker LT installs. The first took about 16 hours (kept having to go to the store for stuff). The second only took 6 hours.

If you get the car high enough you shouldn't have to unbolt the motor mounts. I didn't have to on either of the 2 I did. You also don't have to remove the filter, however, you will need to remove the "oil diverter plate" that is directly above the filter. You also may have to remove the steering shaft. I've heard some say they didn't have to, but I did on both installs.
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Krab speaks the truth.

Will I need 98-99 egr and air stuff if I bought jethot LTs and an ORY for a 2000 model? They told me these where a little diffrent from the 98-99 and 01-02 headers.

nossty1, if you don't want to throw any SES codes, you'll need both the AIR tubes and EGR pump (tubes) off a '98-'99 LS1. Or if you don't mind the SES light, you can just buy some block off plates and wait until you delete the codes via LS1 edit.

This will hurt your performance a little depending on how rich your A/F ratio is, until you get it tuned.

If they made a set specifically for the '00-'02 models, then yes, all you need is the O2 simms. <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />
