Default Any roller rockers that fit '98 LS1's ??

Don't know if anyone makes RR's to fit '98's, since they have the perimeter-bolt style heads? Not the shaft-mount kind, the stud-mount.
I talking WITHOUT any machining or valve cover spacers, etc.
I know Crane has got some and Harland Sharp, but don't know if they fit '98 heads or not?

We carry the Harland Sharp rockers and they will fit the perimeter bolt heads. Now, you may have to do some clearancing with a die grinder to the head or valve cover. This will be the case with any of the aftermarket rockers. We have had several customers use these on the perimeter bolt heads.

Thanks gunnar. Those seem to be about the best for the $$.
I'll be contacting you soon with my order.
I have Patriot stg.2 heads, BTW and have been really pleased with them.

So how about it, has anybody on here got a '98 with Harland RR's, did you have to grind any on the heads or valve covers ??
Just want to know for sure what I'm in for, and whether this can be done on the car, etc.

Not sure on Harlands, but the Crane instruction sheet shows the areas that need attention, I assume the Harlands are similar. If you can download that sheet, it will give you an idea. As I remember it, the modifications weren't major. Just cover everything so you don't get chips in the motor.

I have the 1.8 Cranes on my 98 with a set of Patriot ported perimeter heads. I didn't have to machine anything. Like vettenuts said, they have where it needs to be done in the directions if you do have to.
