Used police cars(rant) I hate that people buy the used cop cars. I know they are cool, but when I am flying down the Bush and traffic is f**ked up and I see a crown vic driving slow,I think cop car. Since it was only doing 55 in a 60 I weaved in and out and pulled up next to it only find a couple of jagoffs driving an old police car. I think they were getting kicks off of screwing up traffic. I think that they sould paint those cars yellow and make the owner remove the spotlight and attenas. Anyone else feel the same? Also people please remove the Kerry in 04 stickers. I case you did not know, he lost!!! One last thought I hate those stickers on cars that say Taylor-Soccer or Madison-cheerleading. You people are only advertising for sickos to follow you to look at your children. Sorry folks the soapbox just broke.

Yep. That's true, at least here in Central TX.
And yes, I don't like the fockers who drive around in the Crown Vics they got at the police auction. I've slowed down for them a few times and when I figure it out, I give a hard stare at the cop wannabe behind the wheel as I resume passing him.
My wife's B4C came from the Denver Highway Patrol, but you would never know it. Looks like a solid pewter V6 car.

I had an old beat the heat car as my drag car. I impulsed bought it on e bay. Had it for a couple of months the parted it out and lost my ***, but that is my style. But big sell cheap and take the biggest hit possible.

Saw some wanna-be driving a real clean 03 CV in FTW the other day. Dark tint, antenna's, push bar, lights on back deck, etc, etc..
What gave it away was a black 'very old' style radar gun he had up on the dash....gave hi, the finger and tromped on it. I figured if he was the wanna be that he looked like he was....that would really **** him off.
Actually, with all the lights he had on the car I was kinda hoping he might flick em on and try and stop me.....now that would have got interesting...LMAO

plus in TX, the 'exempt' is pretty tiny. you gotta get pretty close to see it. i've been pulled over before not because i blew by a cop, but because i caught up to him too quickly.
In MA, the cop plates are blue and the civilian plates are white. but then again, MA uses a TON more undercover cars with regular plates than they do here in DFW

My friend bought a used cruiser from the local smokey's without telling any of us and rolled up one night on my friends and I smoking in the backyard with his spot light. Scared the bejeezus out of me.
