keep the 226, or return to stock cam
Well, Right now I have a 226/226 .575/.575 114+4 cam installed in my car along with some MTI stage 2 heads. However, I am still running stock manifolds with a loudmouth. I am about to order a D1SC Procharger. Would it be better to leave this cam in or put the stock stick back with the addition of the procharger? Any advise is welcome.
TIA
(I know that I need longtubes but I will not be adding them)

I bet the blower has drained the budget, but if you can get some coated Pacesetters and an off-road y-pipe ($500 for everything) the engine will breathe much easier and you'll pick up big hp from the headers.

I know that with headers this cam would be better than the stock cam, but given the fact that I have stock manifolds (and will NOT be adding headers), I was thinking maybe the stock cam would make a little extra power. Maybe I should get me a CheatR cam from thunder?

I had a set of hooker LT's, and a set of Kooks LT's, and I grew tired of the noise, both interior and exterior. So I replaced them with stock 02 cast iron manifolds, cats and Y-pipe, and have never been happier. I guess I'm just getting old and this is just a street car.
