Question will i break 400 RWHP with this set up

my goal all along has been 400 RWHP or more...
My set up, once all installed will consist of:

full bolt ons
TD's, LT's
FAST90/NW90
TSP 225/225 on a 112 (under.600 of lift, forgot it at the moment)
Patriot Stage II 5.3L heads w PP Gold dual springs and TSP hardened PR's
...and a tune

I am worried the cam may not get me there...

You should be over 400rwhp. I put 380 rwhp stock long block midlength headers, bolt-ons LS6 intake, ported tb Without a tune with a similar sized cam...TR227

I would guess should see 420-430rwhp on a dynojet.

Well it all depends really. I mean a rwhp dyno goal is pretty pointless and doesn't really tell alot about the cars actual potential.

If you just want a high dyno number make sure your tyres are highly inflated ~35-40psi as this will reduce firctional loss.

Sit some ice packs ontop of the intake manifold.

Don't correct to SAE leave it at STD reading.

Make sure you use a Dynojet and not a Mustang Dyno.

Don't use any graph smoothing.

And switch the wiper blades on for the run.

If you really want to cheat, dyno run in the wrong gear to throw the dyno out.

Of course such a number would be total BS and bear zero relavance to the real world or SAE Net figures quoted by manufacturers.

If you want a more "real" world reading and something you can use to compare to SAE Net numbers then you'll need to correct to SAE, run sensible graph smoothing and use a load bearing dyno such as a Mustang dyno.

For example, SAE correction can easily reduce PEAK numbers by 3-10rwhp. Graph smoothing can easily show 5-15rwhp variation over the top. An dyno types can really affect the results big time.

400rwhp Dynojet is about the same as 374rwhp on a Mustang Dyno.

Listen up Erik, these guys are telling you straight. Mustang Dyno for true power #'s and Dynojet for bragging rights. Good luck Erik.

i guess my next question was this:
I was originally going to go with a TSP T2....liked the numbers, but heard it isnt always streetable...
I went with the 225/225 because it was a solid spec'd cam...plus the $$ was
But I am still contemplating going with the T2....I really dont want to swap a cam twice!!

I think you will deffitinly reach 400rwhp. The only way to be sure is to go and find out.
