Default Here is my H/C parts list.... Suggestions?

I am contemplating on the idea of a
"Street Legal / Emission Legal (Calif) / Gas Pump (91) Street car Daily Driver"

Here is the parts list:

Precison Race Components Stg 2.5 5.3L Heads & Cam (10.75:1 Compression)
Titanium Retainers / Bronze Guides
Texas Speed 224R Camshaft 224/224 .581/.581 114LSA
LS2 Timing Chain
Gasket Kit: | Heads Cam GM Gasket Kit
TSP Ported LS6 Oil Pump
PRC Double Spring Kit
Large Manley Stainless Valves
Pushrod Length: | 7.400" Length (Standard) TSP Harden Chromemoly

Do you guys think this package will compliment each other well? or I should OPT for the LS6 (10.5:1 Compression)

I need reliable parts because it's a daily driver and preferred to be as reliable as factory... just with more power

PS: anyone with this similar setup? How much RWHP/RWTQ do you think i'll pull? Thanks for any input!

they are reusable and stronger - i snapped the head off a GM replacement bolt with only a few more ft-lbs than spec - i'll never do GM bolts again if there is a stronger one out there

For your setup there is no advantage other than they are reusable and I guess its one more thing for you sig line. I dont even know a single person that has broken the head off a stock head bolt. Through about 5 of my own head swaps I havent had a single issue.

ge a pulley while ur in there for sure, other than that you have more than enough, dont worry about the ARP head bolts just get the gm bolt and gasket kit as u mentioned , that car is going to scream with some tuning

ARP bolts are a good option if you want to spend the extra $ for the piece of mind, neccesity, no way...
I agree with BlacknRedSS.....add an UD pulley while youre at it...you have to remove the stocker anyway....i say do it, youll gain the extra horses and wont have to deal with the bitch later!!!!
Good luck bro

i know someone that broke the stock bolts in two different blocks...go with arp..much safer and worth the extra cost IMO.

Thanks for everyone's reply but besides bolts and underpulley ... no one commented on LS6 vs PRC 5.3 Stage 2.5.... is the PRC the obvious choice to go?

What DCR will you be aiming at? With 91 wouldnt you want to be bang on 8.0:1 or there abouts? Maybe with an 0.040 quench?

See that's the type of question/answers i'm looking for because i have no idea what you just said with that line... ahahha

Does that mean I need a thicker head gasket to lower the compression of the PRC heads from 10.75:1 to more like a LS6 Heads of 10.5:1 with a 0.040 gasket? Sorry very very newbie here...

I'm sure people has the PRC Stage 2.5 who can vouch for this combo using 91 gas or the DCR of the engine?

More opinions PLEASE!

I'm going to call TREVOR pretty soon... thanks for any suggestions

you should be able to run up to around 8.3-8.5 dcr on 91 oct. gas so i'd try to get compression up to around 11:0 or so.talk to tsp and see what they say.
