I have absolutely no problems with mine...although it's very low mileage for being nearly 10 years old.

Default 97 Problems???

I recently bought a one owner low miles (11K) 97 coupe. The only problem I have had is a leaky fuel filter (easy fix) and the well known intermittent fuel gauge problem ( used fuel treatment to solve it). Great car that Chevy got right before it was released. Have no fear!! chuck.

My friend has a 97 that was owned by a Woman who babied it. The only thing so far was he blew the tranny. Drives it harder then she did, but not beating it to death. Oil pressure is 18 psi at idle. Les Stanford Chevrolet "Corvette King" claims that its normal and ok. Any thoughts? Sorry, answer to post question was blown trans and noisy belt idler, and concerns on low oil pressure.
