243 head question I just bought a set of 243's off of a 03 Z06 for my 00 C5. I was wondering if I should just put them on or have them ported out? I don't want any oil consumption or smoking issues and am not sure if these heads have that issue. I know that the Darts were having some problems. Anyone have any feedback? And does anyone have any refences for a good shop in the chicagoland area that does port work?

We can CNC port your heads, perform our 5 angle valve job, hand detail and blend the bowls, and re-assemble your heads using your parts for $600.00. Please give us a call if you have any questions.

When you have the heads ported and cleaned up, is there any advantage in retaining the factory lightweight valves versus replacing them with aftermarket stainless?
