Default Transgo

I just got the tranny rebuilt. Sorta fried the 2nd band. I got it rebuilt ,with the wider band and the raybestos Zpack and I had them put in one of thoses transgo shift kits. 2nd gear now hits like a brick **** house. I better start looking for a 12 bolt. Damn I fixed the bitch too good this time.

you'll be alright dude, i installed transgo's "full race/high stall" shift kit like 10k ago and the car thus far is fine. it will downright snap your neck on a prepped track with sticky tires, i love it!

If the transmission hits to hard on the part throttle 1-2 shift, most likely you have all 3 spacers in the 1-2 accumulator. Take all of the spacers out of the accumulator. This should soften the 1-2 shift quite a bit, and is much easier on the geartrain, your WOT shift should be fine.

yes you need to remove a spacer, i built stangkilr's with 2 and mine has three. you can tell a huge difference, mine also has biller 2/4 servo's as well so it hits hard. one way to look at is the harder and faster it hits the less chance you have of something to slip.

My buddy's done a couple before so we switched cars last night. Mine's being installed right now and I should have it back tonight. I had him put the two spacers in.

I like mine with no spacer's it still shifts very fast but not near as hard on part throttle shifts much more comfortable riding around town and it will not change the wot shift.
