This question was asked once before, but never answered. (actually, somebody happened to have a cap and gasket laying around that he sent out. Super cool)

Anyhow, I'm getting my zed style cutout installed on Sat. and I haven't found any place that will sell me just the cap to the cutout. I'm sure people have lost these before. Anyone know where I can pick one up?

You could just cut one out of sheet stock...Wouldnt be a terribly big deal.

I just had a Zed cutout put on a couple weeks ago...I had a machine shop custom build a cap to fit mine because I couldn't find one...cost $20...kinda I high I thought but only cost $20 to weld it on and $6 for the collector... still cheap mod for only $46.

Sorry for the late reply everyone.

I bought a pair of collectors for $15 and paid $25 to have one welded on at Meineke. They were cool enough to give me a cap as well. So now I'm hooked up.

I really like the zed style cutout sound. It is so much better than stock. I don't think it's even all that loud. There is a slight bit of resonance at around 2400 rpm but it just sounds deep and strong everywhere else. I was planning on getting a qtp but now I don't think I'll even need it.
