Default Ground clearance q w/lowered car, running Stepped headers?

I currently have the SLP LT headers on my lowered Trans AM/Firehawk. So yeah, they hang a bit low - and I'm interested in swapping them out in the near future.

I'd like to go with the Kooks Stepped (1 3/4" x 1 7/8" x 3") headers, with thier matching 3" Y PIPE w/ Magnaflo Metallic Cats. (Yes, I do want to keep my cats).

I know the stepped headers with gain HP!, and tuck up better than the SLP headers. But my #1 concern is ground clearance....

Will the stepped headers cause clearance issues I'm not aware of...either ground clearance and/or floorboard area?

Any information is welcome!
Thanks

I think clearance should be better with them. Alternatively you might want to consider revising the suspension setup to give you better clearance. The cars don't need or even want to be slammed to the gound.

I'd be interested in see what sort of gains (if any) you get by swapping the headers though
