Default Had to show a 05-06 Porsche Owner what Lsx's are about.

Ok,

can someone tell me what these '05-'06 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coup's are meant to run? I had two nice runs with one this afternoon on Memorial Rd. I put about a car and 1/2 on him from a high 1st gear roll through the bottom of 3rd, the guys were dicks wouldn't even roll the window down to say a word, but hell can you blame them he had paper plates still and just spent a **** lot of $$ and got drug. Don't get me wrong I would love to have a Porsche 911 Turbo over an F-Body but damn I was expecting him to pull away.

What mods you got? The 996 Turbo is a solid high-eleven second car, and unless you are talking about the Cayenne/Cayman there is no "S." Also the 997 Turbo isn't available yet, so it definitely wasn't an 06 Turbo.

You're nowhere near stock. No surprise a showroom 6 cyilinder car stock car got beat by a heavily modified V8. You have heads/cam/full exhuast/suspension work/drag radials/etc. and you are surprised you beat a brand new stock Porsche?!?! It would have been impressive if you were bolt-on only, but I don't see it as the huge accomplishment you make it sound like. Hell I could build a 5.0L stang that would smoke the hell out of your car for way less money. Being proud because you beat a 100% stock car in your heavily modified vehicle is stupid (in my opinion, of course).

Uhh heavily modified V8? Where did I say my car was stock? I was refuring to a 90K-100k+ TURBO Porsche. The point that I was making is these older guys drive around in there high $$ cars that they bragg to their buddies at the office on how fast there cars are and how much they spent. I'm sure he will not be tell this story to them on monday morning

Those cars are high 11s with a capable driver. The problem is that MOST Porsche drivers aren't near capable of anything but getting their fingers manicured.

He was probably shifting waaaay early, lol

Hey that's not nice. I would say the same thing if it were a turbo intergra spraying a 75 shot coming on here bragging about beating a stock LS1. Anything can be made to go fast. If you have thousands of dollars in modifications on your ride it's not really an accomplishment to beat a car that is show room stock, that's all I'm saying.

I agree with Tony, most of the guys that own Porsches can't drive them to the cars full potential.
