took my girlfriend to see F&F3...
i walked into the theatre expecting to just laugh through the movie, and just crack jokes about the cars...and have to explain all the car details to my car iliterate girlfriend (shes getting better tho) all to my surprise...i liked it! way better then the first two...the story line was much more creative, and i have to admitt some of the cars were badass and CLEAN! This movie was different then the first two, besides a corney line here and there, the racing sequences were cool, reminded me of Need for Speed Underground ( i like that game) ...were as the first F&F was full of "car talk" witch they themselves the actors didnt even understand, and the second 2F2F was very "skittle-ish" the usage of bright colors were redicules! This one was more dark, and used less (if any) CGI for the action sequences (wich i like) In the movie, there isnt "my car is faster then your car" talk or retarded lines like "...i need NOSSS!!!" actually Nitrous was never realy even talked about at all in the film...nor did anyone run their mouth about what was under their hood, pretending to know what they are saying! I think the movie was put together realy well, and you can tell the director was going an entirely different direction then the first two. So i say give it a chance....it was realy entertaining!

The latest Hot Rod mag. has a write up on the cars in the movie and they really did put the skyline engine in the 67 mustang. The viper that was wrecked in the film was a 26,000 insurance write off that they got for the film. I have not seen it but I might. Robby

I liked it, and the skyline motor in the stang came about because the guy wrecked his car but needed a car for a race that his leaving town depended on and all they had was a skyline motor from a wrecked car and a stang with no drivetrain
